Situated on 20 acres of farmland, Steel String Brewery’s Pluck Farm is a picturesque weekend location and offers access to walking trails, community events, and a weekly Saturday Farmer’s Market from 10am to 2pm.

The Cheese Shop is among a dozen vendors at this growing market location in Mebane and just minutes from downtown Saxapahaw. This market includes vendors, such as Left Bank Butchery, Ran Lew Dairy, Sour Bakery, Eat Dirt Farm, Haw Honey, and more.

Each week, The Cheese Shop offers visitors the opportunity to pre-order cheese by the pound, cheese boards, and provisions, from our weekly rotating inventory of 12-15 cheeses, charcuterie and provisions. Our Farmer’s Market booth includes:

• Cut-to-Order - Our cheesemongers are available to talk you through over a dozen cheeses and charcuterie and cut and wrap your by-the-pound selections straight from the wheel

• Cheese Boards - Grab a cheese board of 3, 4 or 5 cheeses and charcuterie to pair with your Steel String brews

• Handmade Provisions - Working in collaboration with our market partners and local producers, we craft a weekly menu of cheese-centered salads and sandwiches.
